WHEN was the last time your air duct system was professionally cleaned? If it’s been more than TWO years, you’re missing out on some important benefits:
- Health: A dirty system aggravates asthma and allergy symptoms. Every time your system turns on, it pulls in the dirt, dust, pollen, hair, food, and pet dander that settles in your home – then recirculates it into your indoor breathing space.
- Maintenance: A dirty system makes your furnace work harder than it should. Keep your system running smoothly and avoid costly repairs.
- New Construction or Remodeling: It’s amazing what ends up in the furnace and ductwork systems of newly-constructed or remodeled homes: Sheetrock dust, sawdust, carpet fibers, concrete dust, blocks of wood, chunks of insulation, paper, nails, small tools and toys, pop cans, etc.

1. MONSTER Vacuum!
Our goal is to remove all the dirt and dust in your system. Our high-powered HyperVac equipment is among the most powerful systems available in the duct cleaning industry. Do not settle for the under-powered portable units of our competitors.
2. Trained Technicians
No subcontractors at Disaster Recovery! Experienced and trained in the latest procedures, our specialists use the most effective cleaning tools on the market.
Work will not begin until the floors, doorways and corners are protected against dirt or scratching. We wear protective shoe covers during inclement weather.
4. Maximizing Vacuum
All registers are covered with a magnetic-vinyl sheet. As we clean each run, the cover is removed, maximizing the air flow in that duct line.
5. Negative Air Pressure
The vacuum hose is attached to both the supply and return sides of your furnace. All dirt and debris is pulled directly into the filter pod, to ensure that pollutants stay out of your breathing space! We even have a CAMERA so you can see the cleaning process inside your ductwork!
6. Scrub the System
Pulling large volumes of air (3000 to 5300 CFMs) , we now send a variety of our special scrubbing tools down each trunk line (supply) and plenum (return air) to remove dirt, dust, hair and debris.
7. Access Panels & Plugs
It is vital to access your entire duct system to ensure complete cleaning. Our trained technicians will expertly cut access clean-out openings into your duct system if necessary – many building contractors neglect to provide access for cleaning. Some of our competitors do not bother with this step, leaving your system only HALF cleaned! Upon completion of the cleaning and final inspection, they will then seal the ductwork system with removable plugs or metal access cover plates.
8. Furnace Interior
The cleaning is completed with the air-washing and vacuuming of the interior of the furnace, including your air coil and/or high-efficiency coil. Some companies bypass these coils, but a buildup of only 1/16th of an inch of dust on a coil can reduce the efficiency of your furnace by up to 21%!
9. Final Inspection
Before we leave, we test your system to ensure it is working properly. We sweep or vacuum your flooring and remove all debris. If you would like to see what we pulled out of your duct system, just ask our technician to SHOW you!
Our technicians average 1 to 3 hours to completely clean the entire air duct system in an average home.
